The RESA 8 Computer Repair Program provides a wide variety of support and repair services for the RESA 8 Region. Services include computer, whiteboard and printer repairs, as well as imaging, hardware/software installs, network troubleshooting and router support. Repairs are done on-site when possible, as well as via phone, email and remote desktop.
Repair services are obtained through a website which hosts a Computer Repair Work Order System. Requests are entered by school/building/county contacts and assigned to technicians depending on geographical area and type of problem. All eight counties participate in the program and a link to the site is located on our homepage, under Quick Links.
When assistance can be provided over the phone, RESA 8 has a toll-free number which is 1-800-367-3728. All services are scheduled on a priority basis to provide the most effective, lowest cost service available. RESA 8 accepts donations from various organizations in the area and the donations are repurposed to the RESA 8 region, as well as other RESAs and counties in the state. The RESA technicians analyze the equipment prior to delivery to its new home, and cannibalize for parts what cannot be repaired. This equipment saves county school systems a tremendous amount of money each year.
